0:23.3	Thank you for your patience in letting us talk about this, even if it's not a topic that you really
0:28.0	care about. But thank you for, if you listen to this, that means you care about me.

0:32.3	And it has been a labor of love. It has taken several years and
0:36.8	if you have had something that has taken many years to work on you can sympathize and
0:41.2	empathize I hope with the sweet relief of it finally being finished.
0:46.3	So I wrote this book because it was the book that we needed as a family.
0:51.0	You may or may not know I have ADHD, I have known I've had it since about college.
0:55.7	I've been able to manage without medication for several decades.
0:59.6	I found a great job and I found a great woman who was okay with my particular brand of brain and then you have
1:07.6	kids and you go into business with your wife and life gets more complicated and this happens to a lot of people with
1:14.2	ADHD the symptoms if you will are exacerbated a bit and it became difficult
1:20.3	increasingly difficult not just for me but for my family I could tell that in certain
1:24.6	situations my executive functioning was failing and I was letting them down and so we
1:30.1	did this deep dive into ADHD and we discovered together really that there are
1:34.7	certainly ways to work around this and there are so many great upsides for ADHD
1:38.7	which I've always suspected. We started making fun and uplifting ADHD content on our channels about five years ago
