Summary

There are a lot of people in the sober community getting adult ADHD diagnoses, so what’s going on here? There is a strong link between struggling with ADHD and developing a problem with alcohol because just like with anxiety, trauma, or depression, alcohol can be used to self-medicate the symptoms of ADHD. In this episode you’ll learn why alcohol and ADHD are linked, what is going on in the brain’s of people with ADHD, and how having ADHD makes it harder to stop drinking once you start. You've made the most powerful decision about what goes into your body. You stopped drinking.

in the water that you're drinking every day? That's a question I started asking not that long ago,

and it led me to Cove Pure. I was reading about contaminants that standard water treatment

0:20.2

doesn't always remove, and it made me

0:22.3

realize this was something I hadn't really considered before. Some conventional treatment systems

0:27.1

weren't specifically designed to remove all of these newer trace contaminants, and many common

0:32.7

picture filters aren't intended to address them comprehensively. That's what made me look closely at filtration.

0:39.4

It tastes clean, no aftertaste, and it's become one of those small things that feels good to do for

0:45.3

myself. And the best part is it just sits on your countertop. No drilling, no plumber. It plugs in

0:51.5

and gives you hot, cold, or warm water instantly with one tap.

You're in sobriety because you care about every substance that goes into your body and your

water deserves the same care. So make sure that you go to covepure.com slash power. And right now,

Now that we actually feel our stress instead of numbing it, the evenings can hit a lot harder.

You know that tired but wired feeling where you want to rest, but your brain just will not slow down. That's when

I reach for Tenasi. Their CBD-CBDA formula has always helped calm my nervous system when anxiety

is preventing me from falling asleep. But now their soft gels just got an upgrade. They added

omega-3s which support brain health, mood, and inflammation.

As sober people, we spend so much time rebuilding our health from the inside out.

1:51.5

And while Tanasi can't help you with the emotional work that you are doing in sobriety,

they can help quiet stress so that you can rest, and the omega-3s can help your brain and body recover
