Hello, hello, hello, welcome to the naughty but nice show. I'm your host host, Rob Shooter. It's a rainy day here in New York City, which I sort of love because it reminds me of London. However, we have a little bit of news today on the show. Our friend Garrett is off today, enjoying a day with his wife and children. So our friend J.T. is joining in from the Daily Mail TV.

J.T. are you there? Yes, I am. Hi, Rob. Happy Monday. Happy, happy Monday. I love having you back. You did

the show a couple of weeks ago and everybody adored you. We love the Daily Mail TV. So welcome back,

my friend. Thank you for having me. What's going on with you? How's the Daily Mail? Oh, Daily Mail is good. You know, breaking stories all the time. We got some good exclusives. I think we're actually going to be talking about one of them in today's show. So never a dull moment for me. Oh, I love it. What time do you start? So what time do you have to get out of bed to put that show together?

Is it really early for you? It is. I get up, I start around 6.30 in the morning and I work until about 6 or 7 at night. It's a pretty long day. It's a long day. Hey, let's start this show then. What time is it? It's tea time. Thank you, darling. So leading of the show is Adele.

Adele hosted SNL over the weekend and got herself in a little bit of trouble. During her monologue, she addressed what we were all thinking about, which is her enormous weight loss. She made a joke about it. She said the following, quote, I know I look really, really different since the last time

you saw me. But actually, because of all the COVID restrictions and the travel ban, I had to

travel light and could only bring half of myself, so this is the half I chose. Some people thought

it was funny. JT's laughing there. I laughed too. I must admit, now some people are saying that it wasn't funny and fat jokes are just no longer appropriate. One fan wrote, Adel, you shouldn't know fat jokes aren't in. Another said a hard no with Adele making fat jokes. Other people did come to her defense saying she was talking about herself and her own body.

On this show, on the Nourney but Nice show, we don't do body size jokes. We don't do fat stories. We just stay away from those type of stories.

However, this made me think, is it different when you make a joke about your own body? What do you think, J.T?

Yeah, I mean, it's her body. She owns it. And, you know, it's her narrative. So it's up to her to, you know, say the joke.

And if she approves it, then I'm here for it.

I think I am too. Overall, like I said, on our website and on the show, we stay away from size and weight. But this is her story to tell. And had she said nothing, I mean, she looks, she looks incredible. I always thought she looks incredible, but she's

lost about £100. So had she said nothing, I think that would have been just as awkward, too.

Some good news here, though, I just got the overnight ratings for SNL. Do you think

she was a hit or not? What do you think, Jay. Oh, absolutely. Everybody loves Adel. We want music,

and she was on our screens acting and being funny. Give me Adele all the time. Well, you're right.

It was a massive, massive audience. Over 5 million people watched Adele.

Now, SNL normally averages about 4 million, so that's a massive increase. Also, too, in the advertiser market, we talk about this on the show. It's really the younger people. She was up about 28%. This is the third, the third highest rated S&L since metered market households began.
