words. Very hardwomening, especially the personal words. The NFBC stuff is a little bit overblown,

but I'll take care. I don't know. You and your partner, Nick Sackett, who I also know well,

are a pretty darn good NFC player, so you may downplay that, but you guys are consistently really, really good. What's, uh, well, how's your season going this year? Let's, uh, let's just jump right in. Now, you guys have like a top 20-ish team in the main event at some point, right? You still up there? Yeah, that, that was probably two days ago, and now it's in the mid-30s. So, uh, it slides fast. it slides fast this time of year. It's rough. Yeah. Doing

Are you winning that league or no? No. Currently in second in that league. We have another

league that we are currently leading over the hard charging Casey Chaw who outbid us on I didn't realize I would be this

upset about being outbid on Jared Kellanick but but here we are but so he's charging pretty

hard and then a couple other leagues that are close to I think hashing and so in the thick of it

beautiful well I appreciate you join I'm looking forward to in a bunch of baseball obviously you have your partnership with nick and i'm more happy to uh to talk about baseball because i do not want to talk about football right now so let's let's jump into baseball because i'm disgusted by the NFL at the moment so it's a it's a good time to jump into some baseball as a 49ers fan tonight was rough but uh looking at uh looking at week 26. It's a good time to jump into some baseball. As a 49ers fan tonight was rough. But looking at week 26, it's a weird baseball season right now. There's one division that has a remotely interesting race right now. The Braves and the Mets are separated like a game and a half, both playing really good baseball right now. The Guardians have pretty much buried that division. So how did you guys strategize in terms of fantasy leagues? And, you know, obviously I know you guys play a lot of NFBC, but anybody in home leagues,

that sort of thing, we got 10 days left. Are you like super hyped looking for teams that are still playing guys? You're looking for people that are playing their young guys. How do you kind deal with these last 10 days? Because I feel like they're a different monster than any other stretch of the whole season.

Yeah, it's tough because we're trying to kind of balance.

I mean, we were low on dollars, but I wouldn't say we were all that much lower than a lot of the other teams. Right. So, you know, trying to balance, like, what we're comfortable going down to, trying to kind of, I mean, I wrote out, you know, what we had like next week in terms of starters and kind of looking at what the staffs might look like on that short week. So trying to kind of I mean I wrote out you know what we had like next week in terms of

kind of say like okay maybe we'll have six or seven you know starters or guys we can throw and then

we need to at least hold a little bit back and so trying to kind of find that balance was was a

focus for sure but then yeah I mean it's it's extremely cutthroat. And it's, you're just looking at who are the matchups. It's not even really like who's the better player at this point. It's like who has the better matchups for the next seven days. And that's really it. And sometimes even just who has the better first half of the week. Did you think about making any bids with the final half week in mind?

Are we just trying to max out this week?

Like how much did you kind of take it? It's weird. It's a weird season because we have that final. The way the lockout works and all that, we have a final half week where we're only going to get, you know, each team plays three games. I mean, you know, that's only three starters. so 60% of the starters go 40% stars aren't even making a start that week so will you guys
