When I talk about 64% of Americans live where there's, you talk to these recycling companies and they say, well, it's not profitable because I have to take it and then I have to resell it, especially with plastics.

Since there's so much out there, it doesn't make sense.

It's a lot cheaper for me just to throw it away.

I step back and I think to myself, when you think about the national interest, we subsidize Amtrak, we subsidize

the postal service, we subsidize the tobacco industry. I mean, to me, it's really not that

much of a stretch to say, hey, let's help then subsidize this industry so everything does get

recycled, and it's not 5% of what we make. And cans, 35 to 45% of cans, after decades of us talking about recycling cans, it's still

only 35 to 45% of are being recycled.

Half of them aren't even being recycled.

So part of it, it's not people, people want to recycle.

This infrastructure of an industry that we've created where it's not profitable for

the hauler to

actually turn it around and get our cycle.
