1:09.7	less than two months before his trial is scheduled to begin.
1:14.0	Let's go ahead and jump right into that case out of Delphi, Indiana, where a judge has approved
1:18.2	additional charges against a man accused of murdering two teen girls. Richard Allen now faces two counts of murder in
1:25.1	addition to the two counts of murder while committing or attempting to commit
1:28.9	kidnapping that he was already facing for the deaths of Abbey Williams and Libby German.
1:35.0	In a contentious hearing ahead of Allen's trial, his defense sought to dismiss the murder charges,
1:40.1	alleging that investigators failed to examine a credible alternative murder theory.
1:46.0	A former police chief testified on behalf of the defense claiming that state police never investigated potential ties between a white nationalist cult and the girls murder.
1:57.0	However, prosecutors have roundly rejected this theory and have filed a contempt complaint against Allen's defense attorneys following evidence leaks.
2:05.8	Judge Fran Gull will consider the motion to dismiss charges against Allen rendering her decision
2:11.0	at a later date. Allen's case is currently scheduled to begin on May 13th with the proceedings taking place
