Well, one thing you need is the desire, and then you need power.

And God says, I'll give you the desire, I'll give you the motivation, and I'll give you

the power.

I'll give you the enabling to live this life.

She's in 2nd Peter chapter 1.

Now we talked yesterday about verse 1, Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have obtained a faith

of equal standing with ours through the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Then Peter goes on to say in verse 2, may grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge

of God and of Jesus, our Lord. Now, I want to focus today on that one word in that verse

and it's the word knowledge. That's an important word in 2 Peter. It's a key word. It's used in

various forms, I think 16 times. You can count them. I did and that's what I found. Let me read to you
