We are lucky to have a special guest joining us who is a recovering addict and is brave enough to share her story. Liat and Casey break down the topic of addiction using behavioral principles and discuss how F’ing hard it is for people who are addicts to stop engaging in addictive behaviors. When people hear the word “addiction” they immediately think of substance abuse but people can be addicted to a variety of self-reinforcing behaviors including constantly checking your phone, checking social media, exercising, sex, food, abusive relationships, gambling, etc. So this episode is really for everyone.
