What's up, friends, and welcome into Fantasy Pro's MLB.

I am the Welsh.

0:13.6

That is Joe Rico.

0:15.2

And today, we're talking about some waiver hitters that you need to be picking up.

0:19.6

Who is available?

0:20.8

That's always the big question. But who should you be picking up? Who is hot in the streets? We're going to be talking about four players. We've each got two hitters of different degrees of ownership that maybe are moving beyond just the streaming hitting side. So that's what we're going to be doing today. Make sure you guys go check out my playbook for all your in-season access over on Fantasy Pros to help you with some of these tools when we're not there. But let's get into it. Joe Rico, I'm going to let you go first. Let's talk about some hitters. Which hitter are you looking to pick up off the Wafer Wire this week? Yeah, so expanding on a short that I did for the YouTube page a couple days ago. I'm looking at all the San Diego

0:56.3

Padres that I can. Specifically, I think Xander Bogart's is probably the best widely available pickup, about 40% on Yahoo. And if you look at our consensus roster percentage, about 32%. So it's a good chance he's still out there. He's been really picking things up.

1:11.0

In the first week or so, the season was pretty cool for Xander Bogarts, but he has been getting a lot of multi-hit games over the last week or so. He's got the three homers, two steals. He's driven in 14, got the batting average up to 265. None of that is why I'm recommending him or of the Padres in general, though.

1:27.1

They have a couple more games this week at Coors Field.

1:30.9

Tomoyuki Sagano and Ryan

1:32.1

Feltner.

1:33.0

And then they have the day off on Friday before heading to Mexico City to take on your

1:38.7

Diamondbacks over the course of the weekend.

1:40.4

And this is a park where offense has been insane over the years.

1:43.8

There's four

1:44.3

major league games that were played there in 2023 and 2024. The total run scored 10, 10, 16,

1:51.8

and 27 runs in these games. So at the very least 10 runs have been scored in every game with

1:57.4

the high of 27. Get your Bogarts, get your Laurianos, get your Jake Croninworths, even if feels a little bit dirty starting them for just a two-game weekend. I think they're going to get an offensive output in that game that will more than equal what you'd get in a normal three-game series. I really like that. I like that suggestion outside of just some of the obvious, but like you got this incredible series that's coming up that could be good. So pick up your San Diego Padres where you can and maybe Xander Bogart's with that ownership. 32% was that 32% on NFBC or 32% VF? Fantasy pros. Oh, fantasy pros. Yeah. And again, we'll be referencing that. That's fantasy pros. There's a consensus rank between Yahoo and ESPN. So Yahoo's usually up. ESPN's down. That's where it will kind of create these numbers. I'm also going to expand on a, it wasn't a short. It was like our short form, our smaller videos that we do. Joe, a piece of P and I did one for the weekend. And that's more of a like, hey, here's some guys,

2:51.3

you know, weekend pitchers, here's a hitter you need to take over the weekend. You might want to look at. I'm going to expand the hitter that I talked about over the weekend if you didn't pick him up into maybe somebody that you should look for a little bit more. And it's Oswald Paraza, who I talked about to pick up this week and had some hits.

3:07.7

He's only 11% owned so far. But Parazza's kind of been on a thing, if you will. He's got hits in four of his last five games. On Sunday, he dropped a two-hit game. So actually, in that suggestion for picking him up in the weekend, he had hits in both games, which I feel pretty good about. His batting averages up to 2.92 right now. He's hitting homers. He's stealing bases. He's moving
