I am Chris Welsh, and today we're going to be talking about some waiver-wire pitchers.

Who is we?

It's me and Joe Rico.

That's right.

We've got two each, so four total

pitchers that you should be looking at that should be readily available in most league formats.

We've got as low as 5% ownership, which that one has probably changed a little bit, some single

digit into some like 15 to 30 percentile ranges. A couple pictures, Joe, that people should be taking

look at. And why don't we have you kick it off here. You do have the highest single percentage

pitcher on this list, but that percentage is still under 40 percent between Yahoo and ESPN.

So let's hear number one. Yeah, it's Reid Detmer, somebody that I have never really been able

to quit. Ever since, you know, his first cup of coffee in Major League Baseball, I've always thought that the skills are there for him to succeed as a starter.

Looks like he is putting it together this season.

I know that the ERA is sitting at 408 at the time of recording, but all the advanced metrics say that he's about a run underperforming.

304 FIPP, 273 expected ERA, 343 Sierra.

He's still got the strikeouts up there at 25%, but the important thing here, the most important

thing is that Reid Dettmer seems to have his command under control finally for the first time

in his career.

He's always had a walk rate at least 8.5% down to 6.7% this year.
