But it was a really good day and good weekend for baseball overall. We had a lot of great stuff going.. I want to start with the Mets right now. The Mets have buried the Braves this week. They won with four out of five and looked great. They had 19 strikeouts of the team tonight. It was crazy. DeGrom was just unbelievable. I mean, he looked, who knows how long he says healthy, but it looks as good as ever. There was a time, it was like in the fourth inning, someone tweeted he had thrown,

he had 16 sliders that guys had swung at. And he had 16 swinging misses. Like, that's impossible. Like, it's just no way. And then I know you get the home run to your boy, Danesby Swanson, still, I've become a good call by you there. but and then you get the you get the trumpets playing for ds he strikes out the side just

dominant it's uh it's fun right now i I didn't think a month ago we talked about the Mets, the Yankees having the same record. Remember when the Mets fans hated Dias? Yep. He had some home run issues a couple years ago. And wildness issues other times. Yeah, but he's awesome. Yeah, that intro pops. It is so fun. My wife and child are like, I walk in the house, they're like dancing around singing to it randomly now. So I made them watch it. I made them watch it tonight. It's pretty funny. Juliet, I got very excited by that. She loves the trumpet. So it's, it's fun. But, I mean, I just, I can't believe it. I mean, Yankees are are struggling rough yankees week frankie montas today uh you know i think it was it was a long break he got traded he was on the bereavement list had a death in the family like there's stuff going on i saw some yankees fans pretty upset about that trade i'm like you know what nobody got anybody out in that game It was 12 to 9. It wasn't just a Montau's problem. Wainwright was a problem. I think the home plate umpire was an issue.

But yeah, between him and Rocco Baudelli today, we had some managers that were pretty pissed off that the call at home plate on Sanchez was pretty bad too. But it was fun. we've got so we got some good You know, with the A-O, both Centrals are pretty good races. The both Wests are pretty much done. Now the Dodgers have fully stuck the absolute stake in the Padres weekend. I mean, it was already done. But, I mean, they swept me. I think the Padres had one earned run all weekend, Jeff. Yeah, it was a tough look for them. But I remember last year the Padres swept the Dodgers in like in a July series or something like that, made a big deal about it. Like they didn't, but like fan base did and all that. And then the Dodgers just pulled away and left them in the rear rear rear rear. But this is different. The Dodgers is just so legit good. Padres are going to be fine, though.

Don't worry too much about the Padres.

And without that one-to-head, that's... Yeah, without that one-game playoff, I like the fact that, you know, they can get a three-gamer in there. They'll get a real playoff series, assuming they make the wildcard think they will. and you know on that note for natoatee for your main event
