in Washington, D.C. I am fresh off the plane from Distribut

where I've been talking about utilities all week, so I'm ready for today's conversation.

Catherine's in DC, how are you?

I'm doing great since we last taped.

We had a 30-inch blizzardizzard and it all melted.

I know, it's been weeks.

I left like two days after the blizzard for Mexico and I was very pleased to get out because I love the snow but DC doesn't quite know what to do with it so it just kind of sits around but the melting was good.

Jigger is in New York City where he also got snowed on how are you sir? I'm doing great. I think New York City is used to

the snow so we did just fine. Our guest is in the Greater Boston area where they are

certainly used to snow. He has spent decades in the utility sector in New

England. It is Ed White, the vice president of new energy solutions at

National Grid. National Grid, of course, is a large multinational electric and gas utility based in the UK

and it has operations all throughout the Northeast U.S.
