Oh, she made me feel like a good God. That's when it got wheels off. Adam Wiener is the frontman and really the sole proper member of the band, low-cut Connie.

A lot of great musicians have gone through his lineups over the years, but it's Adam that is the engine and proprietor of this fascinating artistic

machine. To watch low-cut, Connie, is to be dazzled by the high energy and what I now understand to be performance art. You know,

that's his background, as you're about to find out in this. I don't mean to, you know,

spoiler alert, he studied performance art. But man, it makes so much sense now that I know that.

This conversation was so fun and great.

There are a couple of moments where it seems like we're going to go down a rabbit hole of overlapping friends and not exactly inside jokes,

but, you know, the things that he and I have in common, places where we overlap.

You'll hear at the beginning that there's a lot of mutual respect, certainly on my part.

I think low-cut Connie is one of the most fascinating and exciting bands of these last, you know, 10, 15 years.

Great band. Cool, dude. Very smart. Very fluent in the language of art in general and his art specifically. It's great when someone has a strong

sense of who they are and what they're doing. And Adam is just that someone. So it's really great

that I'm able to welcome him to this new episode of Wheels Off, Adam Weiner.
