Did that surprise you?

Because you've obviously known Sean for six years, seven years now. Did that surprise you?

Did that throw you off? Yeah, I mean, I think it's surprised, you know, everyone, to be honest a little bit.

But at the same time, Sean is and always has done what he believes is best for the team.

And if he believes this is what's best for the team, then that's what's best for the team.

And you have to trust someone like him who's been so successful over however many years he's coached now since 06, minus the one year.

So whatever plan he has, you just kind of trust,

and he has the proof to back it all up.

You know Davis Webb so well inside that building.

What gives you confidence that he is going to be able to follow in Sean's footsteps,

which are pretty big shoes to fill in terms of play calling? What gives you confidence in Davis?

His intelligence is insane, especially when you like, you kind of know his story about

when he was playing. He was basically a player coach in a way. And he used to tell me stories about, you know, how he would like do kind of like extra install with players.

Like maybe it was like Sequin when he was there in New York and everything and just helping other guys out just to prepare him.
