Welcome to the Peter King Podcast. You know we're entering week 11 and I keep thinking to myself some week

I'm going to come and say, well, you know, we got five games postponed this week and

look, you know, as you listen to this whether it's Wednesday or

Thursday or Friday whenever who knows what can happen this weekend but I

continue to think how remarkable it is that there's been no games postponed yet.

Anyway, this week, it's kind of a fun podcast.

We're going to have Adam Thielin of the Minnesota Vikings, the wide receiver had two touchdown catches in the Monday night win at Chicago, but I'll tell you the thing that really caught my eye is Adam Thiellen wearing cleats paying tribute to Alex Trebek. So we're certainly going to get into that with him. And then we're going to have one of the first punters in podcast history.

Johnny Hecker of the Los Angeles Ram, so I think is just absolutely superb and I don't know three four weeks ago I don't know if you remember on Monday night football against the Chicago Bears, you know he dropped five punts inside the ten and I just said that is an incredible, incredible

accomplishment.

So his reward is an appearance on the Peter King podcast. So we'll have Johnny Hecker as well. But before we get into our guests, let's talk about just very quick hit,

three sentences on five different teams.

Okay, we're gonna start with the New England Patriots.

Okay, the Patriots are four and five, which I think with that roster is a fairly

incredible accomplishment. And while I do think that everybody should just slow down a little bit and talking about, oh my God, they're going to be in the playoffs and look at them making this huge comeback.

We have to remember, it's just been a week and a half since they trailed the worst team in our memory.

The New York Jets, I'm exaggerating a little bit, but the worst team we've seen in a while in the NFL, they trailed by 10 points in the fourth quarter and had to pull out all the stops to get a win there. But kudos to, and kudos to Josh McDaniel's that was a great game plan that had the Patriots beat the

Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night. The Houston Texans so Ian Rapp Rappaport, a NFL network, had a very good story up the other day and the story was that the Houston Texans could make Romeo Cornell

the coach of this franchise for the 2021 season.

So in other words, he would be the coach for one and three quarter years because

according to Rappaport's report the Texans were concerned that they wouldn't

be able to run a regular coaching search because of COVID.

And I thought that is the biggest bunch of crap I've ever heard in my life.
