Adam, what do you see in him that makes you guys feel like he's a good fit in that spot?

Well, we thought he played the position really well, as well as anybody in the draft.

Maybe not the biggest or the strongest arm,

but really good at playing the position, moving guys with his eyes,

tough in the pocket, doesn't need a lot of room to throw.

He really put that program on the map,

and they've won a lot of games with him as a starter.

That was the voice of Washington's new general manager, Adam Peters,

from way back in the spring of 2022,

he was being interviewed about the 49ers draft

and was asked specifically about their seventh round pick that year,

Brock Purdy.

That's what he sounds like, for those of you who are wondering,

you're going to hear more of his voice a little bit later on in the show.

It's not really his voice that we care about.

It's his ability to do the job and do it well,

a job that really hasn't been a real job in this organization

in 25 years, but maybe for the first time in 25 years, this is now a real organization. That's

actually a big takeaway from Adam Peters, reportedly becoming the new general manager of this organization.
