But first, the biggest news of the week.

And, you know, the biggest news of the week, of course, crossed over into the sports world

because we are living in a world right now where, you know, specifically the world of sports

and specific sports that have large African-American

populations within that sport, of course, are going to weigh in on the George Floyd,

Derek Chauvin trial, the Chauvin trial and the verdict and the three guilty verdicts,

which were amazing in the middle of

this week and had to for a lot of those athletes who have been fighting for that first step of

justice to be delivered in this world where you see something bad that happened. We have the

video footage of it. And then for justice to be

served, we shouldn't be cheering. We shouldn't be celebrating, but we are. Because we know how-

We should have sweat it for one second. But what's fascinating, I think why athletes are so

connected to this issue is because athletes themselves, they all have stories of getting pulled over.

They all have stories of being harassed. They all have to-it- It doesn't matter that they're multi-millionaires. It doesn't matter that they are adored by millions of people. Heroes in their community. Heroes in their community larger than life figures, if they get pulled over on the road, if they're in a neighborhood that maybe doesn't have a lot, like, because of the fact that they've made so much money in their lives, they're living in a neighborhood where there aren't a lot of black people living in that neighborhood. They get pulled over, hey, what are you doing in this neighborhood? Well, I live here. Well, now it's a confrontation. And it's like, they can relate to this in a way that I think more so than people maybe will understand who are not black, who don't go through that. So very close to this
