About ten years ago, there was a creative rush to do a Steve Jobs film.

There were a couple in development. There were several in development. There were so many that

Funny or Die decided they would beat everyone to it and do the first feature length Steve Jobs biopic.

They asked me to play Steve Jobs. I had done the Apple commercials for many years before.

I think they thought it would be that would be the funny tie-in.

But I took it very seriously, even though it was kind of a joke. The joke was that we may not be the best Steve Jobs movie,

but we're going to be the first. That's how they build the movie. The first Steve Jobs biopic.

But as an actor and somebody who has tremendous respect for Steve Jobs, he's one of the, I mean, he's changed the world.

I took it very seriously and we were only shooting we had like three days to shoot the entire movie.

So that was part of the joke was that the wigs weren't great and the history wasn't totally accurate.

But I tried to commit to him as best I could and do his service, you know, as best I could.

Did it end up being the first one that came out? It did. It was the first, it was.

And maybe not the worst as it turns out. Oh, maybe not. I haven't seen all of them.

But I wonder it was still despite the fact that it was kind of a joke movie. It was still a great honor.

Well, speaking of not the worst and great honors. Do you want to start the show?

I thought you were going to say you're great honors. Yeah, I don't think this shows the worst.

I said not the worst. It's a good energy to open the show with. We are not the worst setting the bar low.
