1:14.6	the hour, the guest on today's Happy, Sad Confused is Mr. Adam McKay. I adore Adam McKay. He is a
1:20.6	brilliant writer and director. You know him, of course, from back in the day, his contributions
1:25.2	at Saturday Night Live, but then, of course, his amazing run of films, whether you love his work,
1:31.2	and stepbrothers, or anchor man, or the big short, or vice, he is prolific and talented,
1:39.0	and always spinning a thousand different plates. We hit upon a lot of the projects that he's
1:45.5	working on in this wide-ranging conversation. Foremost on his mind right now is this new podcast,
1:51.8	Death at the Wing, which I've been enjoying, that he is the host of, and is something of a
1:56.9	investigation into the spate of untimely deaths of NBA players. Primarily in the 80s,
2:04.7	most notoriously perhaps, Len Vias, who tragically died of a cocaine overdose just hours after
2:11.3	being drafted into the NBA. But it's more than just a look at these kind of untimely deaths.
