A constant stream of anti-democratic statements from him and a robust American economy

that would normally blunt any real opposition and still Donald Trump is tied with

or beating President Joe Biden in most polls.

How? Why? I wanted the view from someone who used to be on the inside of the Republican Party

before being famously ejected. I'm talking about former Republican representative Adam Kinzinger,

once a rising star in the GOP, who was effectively chased out of Congress

with torches and pitchforks after he dared to vote to impeach Donald Trump after January 6th.

Now, for the record, Kinzinger is still a Republican, and a relatively conservative Republican at that.

But it is a respectful, fascinating conversation. all Trump, Gaza, Ukraine, abortion, and the Supreme Court.

Adam's just fine, man. That's great. Okay, well, I have to, I've got to ask you this. I'll call

you Congressmen and then Adam sometimes, but let me ask you about, about the former president

losing his appeal yesterday to move the venue, to try to get this thrown out, to delay. It seems like this may be

his last delay when it comes to this particular case. Yeah, I mean, it looks like it is. I mean,

everything he is doing, and I think, you know, it does bear repeating because not, you know,

we know this, but not everybody knows it. Every, every move he does, every appeal, every motion is all about appeal every motion is all about delay it is all about delaying

until after the election and so yeah it seems like this was pretty summarily rejected and i

think that's going to lead to you know we're going to see a trial this isn't the trial i would

have liked to have seen first but at the same time i'm one of these that believes that nobody's above the law. And, you know, whichever comes first,

comes first. And so I think he's, I think he's, uh, he's certainly going to have to face justice
