Hello and welcome to the Thursday January 16th

0:09.2

2020 edition of Tesla Daily on official Tesla podcast.

0:12.1

My name is Rob Maurer. Today we are talking about Adam

0:14.5

Jonas of Morgan Stanley's most recent note on Tesla that came out before market open today.

0:20.0

And then we also have some comments from Volkswagen CEO to talk about as well.

0:24.4

So looking at Tesla stock on the day, actually a pretty impressive recovery throughout the day.

0:29.1

1:04.7

And it is a good jumping off point for discussion.

1:07.9

Looking at Jonas's note, this one's a little bit weird because in this case they actually

1:11.4

did increase their price target by almost 50% from $250 per share previously to

1:16.7

360 dollars per share but they also downgraded meaning they changed their rating from equal weight to underweight.

1:25.4

A mixed report that shows an improved outlook for Tesla but not compared to the recent

1:29.8

price appreciation that we have seen.
