The issue of this magazine and its audio component, this podcast, is special to me for a few reasons.

The first reason is what's included in this issue of Nightmare magazine.

The prologue to my horror novel Hodes Grimm.

The history of that novel is pretty easy to trace with a simple Google search.

I continue to be honored by the underground following that the work enjoys today.

Though I'm best known right now

as the producer and creator of the cyberpunk audio drama series Edick Zero FIS, what came before

that was the audiobook drama, Hodes Grimm, a fairly wild hybrid of the audiobook and audio drama

form. All my technical ability was a result of working on that project. As a matter of fact, for a bit of little-known trivia, the music that you hear in the audio logo

and behind the intros and atros to this very podcast is a version of the Hodes Grimm theme that I created for this magazine.

I'm proud to have the prolog featured among the magazine's pages.
