I'm Mick Garris and this is post-mortem.

We've been able to say this a lot lately, but it's a good time for horror. The multiplexes can be a reliable

home for your weekly horror fix, whether from a franchise or something new from Stephen King.

But the really good news is that there's never been a better time for horror at home.

That the genre has been so enthusiastically embraced by television is something I would never

have imagined when I began working.

Though I've been lucky enough to work both in feature films and television,

I've had my greatest creative freedom and successes on the once-reviled small screen.

But small screens aren'tiled small screen.

But small screens aren't so small now unless you're watching your penny dreadfills on your

iPhone, which I don't recommend.

And what's on offer is pretty exciting.
