I'm the host Scott Feinberg and my guest today is one of the fastest rising young

actors out there, Adam Driver.

The 33-year-old first came to prominence in 2012 playing the complex and

controversial character Adam Sackler on Lena Dunum's dark comedy series girls

the sixth and final season of which was recently completed and will air in the spring on

HBO.

Starting a year before that though and during breaks from the show, Driver has played parts of varying

size in films for many of the best directors in the world. From Clint Eastwood's

J. Edgar to Stephen Spielberg's Lincoln, to the Cohen brothers inside Lewin Davis, to

Noah Bombox Francis Ha and While We're Young, to Martin Scorsese's

forthcoming silence.

He's now best known for playing Kylo Wren, the grandson of Darth Vader, in J.J. Abrams' 2015 blockbuster

Star Wars, The Force Awakens, a role he'll reprise in future installments of the franchise.

But he recently earned the best reviews of his career for his performance in a movie a fraction

of their size, Jim Jarmush's Patterson, which premiered at Sundance back in January.
