You also posted a tweet this week that lit my brain up and I want to get to that as well. But you

wrote a piece with the New Yorker recently titled Michael Cohen in the end

stage of the Trump presidency. You made the argument that this is not a prophecy, it's a

simple statement of the apparent truth that this is the last stage of his

presidency. How is that

in that piece I talked about in my career covering other events. I covered the Iraq war

I was in Iraq for the first year of the US occupation.

I covered the financial crisis.

These stories where there's a disconnect between what journalists covering the story and also other

experts you know other people who are on the ground covering the story know and

what somehow is getting through to the public.
