Today, I am discussing the case of 21-year-old Adam Castillo from Wilcox, Arizona.

On the night of Saturday, September 13, 2008, Adam went to a party in the desert with about 30 other people, and was never seen again.

Rumors began to swirl in the small town, and the sheriff's office actually shut down the local

high school for an entire day, just to conduct interviews and see if they could figure out

what happened in the desert that night. But 13 years later, the case has gone cold, and we still

don't know how Adam disappeared. I found Adam's case over a year ago.

A family member posted Adam's poster in a discussion group on Facebook asking questions about

billboard pricing. I honestly didn't think much of it. I was just trying to be helpful. At that time,

I was taking a break from the podcast to process my

father's arrest. But earlier this year, I found Adam's sister Ariana on TikTok. She runs the

Justice for Adam Castillo account and creates videos to advocate for his case. I watched a few of

these videos and ran to Google, but almost nothing came up. I had to dig through

Facebook and Reddit post to find links to the few articles that are available. Luckily, Ariana,

her sister Cassandra, and her mother Grace were kind enough to speak with me for this episode.

I was also able to obtain what I hope is just some

of Adam's case file. I want to warn you, Adam's story is complicated, and discerning fact from fiction

is extremely difficult in this case. After Adam went missing, the rumors began to spread like wildfire.
