Good news about mom. Life got better for her when she started listening to the big picture retirement podcast created by my local Texer Canapal, Devin Carroll. I even listen with her, and I want to hear any old guy jokes about me listening to a retirement podcast, okay? Because I still got time, especially with the help of Devin and his co-host John. 15 years of experience apiece, Devin and Financial Planning and John and Elder Law, these guys know what they're talking about.

Mom invited Devin over the other day, and we asked him why he started the podcast.

You know, in looking at all of the podcasts that are available out there, I could find all of these podcasts that had these very narrow focus areas, right?

So we might could find one that focused on the financial planning,

but they weren't necessarily talking about the legal or tax side of the plan. And I've just found

that practicing in this area for the last 15, 16 years that you really need that big picture

approach. The big picture is right. The basement can give you all the juicy financial
