I'm Pete, joined by Darius and Mike. And today we're going to view this upcoming season through the lens of Anthony Davis. We've spent so much of our time evaluating how new players fit in to the point

where there's so many new guys, there's not a team for them to fit into, but there is a foundation

for them to build off of in LeBron and Anthony Davis. And so as we wrap up this offseason,

we're going to be wrapping it up with the season, upcoming season, from their point of view.

Darius, I am struck by how much of what I think we're planning on doing is built off

of Anthony Davis, is dependent on him.

It's not unique to this team that if Anthony Davis isn't able to be, you know, the player that he's capable of being, they're not going to be able to go where they want to go.

That's true of any Lakers team.

That was true of this last year's team.

That was true of two years ago.

And in any of those periods of time, if he got hurt in a game four against a good team, we're probably not going to win that

series. That said, so much of this team is we don't have as many bigs, for example, we don't

have as many viable centers. He is the only guy on our team that does what he does. And part

of that's because he's Anthony Davis. He's one of the only guys in the league that does what he does. But I'm especially struck by this season's team. I think that so much
