This is part six of a series going through every one of my ad income growth hacks.

In this episode, I'll be teaching you how to optimize the placement of your most valuable content,

which is also known as the MVC.

Some of the most common MVC examples are recipes, patterns, PDFs, templates,

and packing list. All of these need to be at the end or the tail end of your blog post.

If you give them your recipe or template at the beginning of the post,

then they're going to leave right after they get what they came for. This means you'll miss out on

up to 90% of the ad revenue. You will also lose most of your ad revenue if you have a jump

link at the top of your page that sends

them directly to the end of your post where your MVC is located. With that being said,

you can't just write subpar content above your MVC. If you do that, your visitors will

check out before they get to your MVC, which is bad for your SEO.

For example, if your MVC is a PDF summary of the book from Good to Grace,

then you can lead with the 10 takeaways from Good to Great, followed by the 20 best quotes from the book. After the takeaways and the

quotes, you will then place a link to download the PDF summary. The top food bloggers mostly

use the same template for front-loading content before the recipe. I'll walk you through the five leading elements that

food bloggers place before they give their recipe away. Number one, the hook. This is the intro where you

lay out your promise and tell them what you're going to deliver. Number two, the final presentation image.
