Hey everybody, Rob Mauer here. Welcome back to Tesla Daily. Hope everybody had a great

0:11.2

long weekend and happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day today as well. We're doing a live episode

0:16.4

today as we've got the holiday. No market action obviously to discuss, but we ended up having

0:21.8

quite a busy weekend with quite a lot of Tesla news. So we'll get into quite a few things

0:27.0

here. We've got an ad campaign attacking Tesla as the title mentions. We've got quite a

0:31.0

bit of news on FSD, sort of a weird situation with Tesla's law firm selection updates from

0:36.8

Nitsa, Gigabirline and Texas, and a few other things as well. So a lot to get through and

0:42.2

I'm excited for that was so today. So we're going to start off with that ad campaign.

0:46.2

I'm sure many people have seen it by now, but over the weekend or maybe on Friday, there

0:51.0

was a full page ad in the New York Times, which this cost more than $100,000. I think

0:57.2

I've seen estimates of like $250,000 for a full page ad in New York Times. And it's criticizing

1:05.6

Tesla. So it says, don't be a Tesla crash test dummy talks about how full self driving,

1:11.2

if it was fully self driving every car, millions of people would die every day, which is an

1:15.9

interesting characterization to make given the fact that obviously FSD is not meant to be

1:20.2

unsupervised, and no one has ever really said that it is. They give some statistics here,

1:24.8

which will walk through in a second, and then basically linked to their website. So it

1:30.1

isn't ad, right? Like they are advertising here, not just criticizing Tesla, trying to

1:34.1

you create interest in this project called the Don project. If we got this website, we

1:40.3

can see that this is started by Dan O'Dowd. Dan O'Dowd is the founder of Green Hill software,

1:47.1

which we'll talk about in a second, but they work in various different areas of software,

1:52.2

including an automotive, which I get will talk more about in a second. But it's kind

1:56.0

of interesting here because the ad is mostly criticizing Tesla for, you know, what they
