Summary
In week 2 of our revelatory series, ACTS I & II, Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell walks us through Acts 1:9-26, where the origin of revival was ignited and the assignment of the church was revealed.Jesus ascended in glory with all authority and entrusted His people with the mission to be witnesses and make disciples to the ends of the earth. In His absence, He left us with the Holy Spirit who empowers us to fulfill the call.The early church devoted themselves to prayer, unity, and obedience, understanding the gravity of their assignment and refusing to be distracted by division. This is the origin of the church age and the mission still stands.
