So when Silas and Timothy had come from Macedonia, remember St. Paul had gone ahead.

Paul was compelled by the spirit and testified to the Jews that Jesus is the Christ.

But when they opposed him and blasphemed,

he shook his garments and said to them, your blood is upon your own heads. I am clean. From now

on I will go to the Gentiles. So they catch up to him and he has been going to the synagogue.

It said he was reasoning in the synagogues with them so apparently what we have here is that say paul really feels compelled that he needs to draw a line in the

sand right he needs to do the altar call right he needs to say right you need to make a decision

jesus is the messiah you need to make a decision. Jesus is the Messiah. You need to, you know, enough reasoning and discussion and debate.

Right.

He draws the line in the sand.

And when he draws the line in the sand, you know, are you with Jesus?

Are you against Jesus?

They're mostly against Jesus.

Right? And that's why it says they oppose him and they blasphemed.

Right.

So they're not just saying, well, I don't know.

That seems like a big commitment.

You know, I'm still not sure.

They're blasph-me.
