So these philosophers, they're curious at least.

Well, what is he talking about?

Well, let's invite him to come tell us.

So they bring him over.

And,

says, for you are bringing some strange things to our ears.

Therefore, we want to know what these things mean.

So they're at least curious.

What is this strange stuff you're talking about?

For all the Athenians and the foreigners who were there spent their time in nothing else,

but either to tell or to hear some new thing. So it's a little judgmental from St. Luke.

There are a lot of folks who just like hanging out in the marketplace and talking about stuff.

So it is kind of like an internet message board.

That's right.

Then Paul stood in the midst of the Ariopagus and said,

Men of Athens,

I perceive that in all things you are very religious.
