But so to get us caught up to where we are right now, where we left off.

We've been reading about the beginnings of first St. Paul and

Barnabas together, their first missionary journey together, where they went to several cities.

They went first to Cyprus and then to several cities in Asia Minor, what's now Turkey,

and preached the gospel there and started churches in those cities.

And then we read that they were preparing to go on another journey,

and there was a little bit of a falling out, and so the two separated and St. Paul took Silas with him.

And St. Barnabas took St. John Mark, who as we mentioned before,

is the St. Mark who wrote the gospel, according to St. Mark,

took him and they sort of went on two separate journeys.
