We would have never chosen Christ had he not first chosen us. We were continually

going astray. We were in darkness. So God had to come to us. He marked us out to be his own possession. And he chose us by himself and

for himself. We considered the doctrines of grace as they appeared in John's Gospel yesterday,

seeing that salvation is consistently taught as a sovereign and

gracious work of God. These truths are not whispers in the pages of scripture, but

are found from Genesis to Revelation.

And today, on this Tuesday edition of renewing your mind, Stephen Lawson will turn our attention

During the earthly ministry of Jesus, he said a disciple after he's been

fully trained will be exactly like his teacher.
