Today on Searchlight, we are going to look at a relentless madman, a man named Saul, whose life was

dedicated to wiping out Christians. But a change is about to happen in this man's life, and this

is an intriguing story that tells us much. Let's join Pastor John for this interesting story in Acts Chapter 9. Acts Chapter 9,

in Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went

under the high priest, and desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues that if any,

be found of the way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound back to Jerusalem.

Saul of Tarsus, a man who was very religious.

He was trained at the feet of Gamalio.

Gamaliel was the big cahuna of theology in that time.

He was the teacher of teachers.

And Saul had the opportunity to sit at his feet and be taught by Gamaliel. He knew the scriptures. He knew the law well.

He was not only religious, but he was respected for, you see,

Saul was a member of the Sanhedron. That is the Jewish Supreme Court.
