Guys, we are in Acts chapter nine. We just got through, well, you know, Stephen's speech, Stephen Stoning.

And then we got to hear about the other epic deacon getting teleported around and, you know, baptizing Ethiopian eunuchs and and all that And that's kind of where we ended and there is this sort of like line that sets up chapter nine

That appears in the stoning of Stephen but there was this guy and

He got his you know some coats thrown at his And more importantly, he was approving of what was

going on right in front of him. And then you had him come up again, I said that, hey, well,

you know, Phillips baptizing Unix and stuff, Saul, this guy saw, young Pharisee, he's ravaging the church. That's the language it uses. And so he is

going into houses, rounding up Christians, throwing them in prison, all this kind of stuff.

And chapter nine is where you take the turn. And we're going to find out more about this guy saw.

And, you know, if you had never read the Bible, you might be like, oh, they're hinting at

this guy.

He's probably going to be like the main villain in this story.

That this guy seems like they're setting him up.

Turns out no.

Turns out no, indeed.

The Lord has other plans for our Saul here.

And so we pick it up chapter 9, verse 1.

It says, but Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord,

went to the high priest and asked him for letters to the synagogues at Damascus,

so that if he found any belonging to the way men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.
