Welcome to Searchlight, a survey through Scripture with Pastor John Corson.

It is our desire to bring you a systematic study of the entire Bible,

chapter by chapter, book by book.

Here on Searchlight, we are studying through the Book of Acts,

and as we do so we are seeing the

power of the Holy Spirit working through people who are yielded to His will.

We are now in Acts Chapter 5, where we will again see the Holy Spirit working in miraculous ways.

And as we see these miracles taking place, keep in mind that the same Holy Spirit is working

in the lives of believers today. Let's go ahead and join Pastor John for our teaching and see

the work of the Holy Spirit in the church. Acts chapter 5, we left off at verse 15 the book of Acts definitely portrays that purity and power are linked intimately together and how that needs to be understood for our life here in the Applegate and for your life as a believer

individually.

A lot of times we sing the song, more love, more power.

In reality, the need is less sin and less carnality. Because you see, those are the things

which often are preventing that power and presence of the Lord from flowing through our lives.
