Welcome to Searchlight, a survey through Scripture with Pastor John Corson.

It is our desire to bring you a systematic study of the entire Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book.

Here on Searchlight, we have been learning about the power of the Holy Spirit working through the

early church. And we have also learned that that same power of the Holy Spirit is available to

the church today. We are now in Acts Chapter 3, and we'll begin a verse-by-verse study which

shows the Holy Spirit working through Peter and John. The way that they choose to work with the Holy Spirit is very instructive for us.

Let's now join Pastor John for our study and see what God would speak to us.

In our study last time, we saw a marvelous miracle taking place.

A man who had been lame for 40 years was miraculously healed in the name of Jesus Christ.

And he began to walk and leap and praise God.

And he grabbed a hold of Peter and John, who were the instruments through which that healing was dispatched.

And he held them, verse 11.

And as this fellow's just gloriously, hilariously worshiping the Lord and holding on to Peter and John,

people from all over the city begin to gather together, wondering about what has taken place.
