Guys, we are in Acts chapter 22. We got through the first 16 verses.

Paul's given a little testimony, you know? He's saying, let me tell you a story here

about how it came to be that as angry as all you guys are at me, it's nothing compared

to how angry I was, you know, like I was out here trying to murder people, okay?

Like, that's what I was doing. Like, you were trying to murder me, I was successful in my rage

until one day, you know, as I was on route to do this very thing.

The Lord said, not so fast, buddy, you're going to be my apostle to the Gentiles.

And that's kind of where we stopped.

He said that all the, the Lord grabbing him and saving him, of course, results in him what?

Being baptized, And that's

what we talked about that had all those sins, all those Christian murdering activities washed away

in the waters of baptism. And that is where we ended. Indeed. So we pick it up at verse 17. Paul says,

when I had returned to Jerusalem and was praying in the temple, I fell into a trance and saw him, him here is Jesus,

saying to me, make haste and get out of Jerusalem quickly because they will not accept your

testimony about me. And I said, Lord, they themselves know that in one synagogue after another,

I am imprisoned and beat those who believed in you. And when the blood of Stephen your witness was being shed,

I myself was standing by and approving and watching over the garments of those who killed him.

And he said to me, go, for I will send you far away to the Gentiles.
