It is our desire to bring you a systematic study of the entire Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book.

Over the last couple of Searchlight programs, we have been looking at the Apostle Paul's journey to Jerusalem

in Acts chapter 21. Even though Paul had been called to be the Apostle to the Gentiles,

his heart still desired to minister to the Jews. As he arrived in Jerusalem, Paul thought that

he would get that opportunity, and because of his desire to minister

to them, he accepted their request that he sponsor and join four other guys in a purification

ritual in the temple. This was in spite of the fact that Paul strongly taught that the Jews

no longer needed to adhere to the laws of Moses. And what happens

next is a riot, literally. Let's now join Pastor John for our teaching and see what happens

to Paul. Okay, if that's what you fellas think, even though Paul himself was not a believer in the rituals or regulations,

Paul, it must have caused him a pain inside to go into the temple in this kind of ceremonial ritual kind of deal.

I'm sure that Paul did not offer a sin offering.

For Paul would later on point out very clearly that Jesus Christ is the sin offering.

No need for sin offerings.
