The gospel has reached the uncircumcised.

Now, don't get upset.

That's not my words.

This is how these people are talked about, which, you know, it is what it is.

This is how they are referred to.

Uncircumcised people, the Holy Spirit, has fallen on them.

And that's kind of what happened last episode. Peter is the guy that's being used here.

He's going to return. And so people are going to start getting hearing that like, hey, I think Peter was out there baptizing, uncircumcised people.

Stend at a Tanner's house. There's all kinds of stuff going on. And you might think it would just be nothing but rejoicing from the jump, but it's met with some skepticism at first that, whoa, whoa, whoa. Indeed. What are we doing here? Yep. That's exactly right. So picking it up in chapter 11, verse one, it says now the

apostles and the brothers who were throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles also had received

the word of God. So when Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcision party criticized him,

saying, you went to uncircumcised men and ate with them. Who of us hasn't heard, like, made this criticism.

Yeah.

How we go into our potlucks here at church, yeah.

It is fascinating that you do have this whole group of people that are just referred to as the circumcision party.

Like, if you're going to identify yourself with one thing, that was the thing.

They're like, we're the people that are all about that circumcision.
