it guys we are in acts chapter 10 uh you know we got uh peter he's got to go on a little

he's got to go on a little mission he's got uh he's got to go and uh uh, and visit a guy, you know, so Peter's going to

visit a guy. And Peter's going to visit a guy. Yeah. And, and, uh, it seems like there, you have,

like, the two things happening here. We just got done hearing that, you know, uh, there's this,

there's this Tanner, which, uh, was sort of an sort of an unclean thing to be doing, right,

that you have people staying with.

Now we're getting Peter going over to Cornelius's house, and if you thought that maybe

staying with the wrong person in the wrong house, You're like, ooh, what's happened?

What's God up to you right here? Well, God's going to make it real clear exactly the moves he's

expecting the church to make going forward. Indeed. So before he sends Peter out completely on his

mission, he's going to educate Peter about the way things actually are. So he says, the next day as they were on their

journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the housetop about the sixth hour to pray,

and he became hungry and wanted something to eat. But while they were preparing it, he fell

into a trance and saw the heavens opened in something like a great sheet descending,

being let down by its four corners upon the earth.

In it were all kinds of animals and reptiles and birds of the air.

And there came a voice to him, rise Peter, kill, and eat.

But Peter said, by no means, Lord, for I have never eaten anything that is

common or unclean. And the voice came to him again a second time. What God has made clean,
