A very strange episode, which I had to share with you. It is from ATX, the Austin TV Festival.

It was the closing panel of the whole festival. And while it's not strictly about writing,

I think you guys will dig it. It is the Actors Roundtable. It has a crazy

collection of actors from all over your television who give lots of great advice for actors

and really for anyone who wants to get into the business. Joshua Molina from Scandal,

Lucas Neff from Raising Hope, Scott Porter from Friday Night Lights, Matt Loria, also from Friday Night Lights, Devin Gummersal from my so-called life, Nick Weschler from Revenge, Wilson Bethel from Heart of Dixie, and it's moderated by Evan Miller. They don't introduce themselves at the beginning, but you'll catch up pretty quickly, and it gets pretty off the

rails pretty quickly as well. I think you guys will enjoy it. Speaking of Austin, this very week,

I'll be at the Austin Film Festival. I hope you will be too. On Thursday at 1 o'clock at the festival,

we're doing a nerdist writers panel with our pal Ashley Miller, who co-wrote X-Men

First Class and the first Thor movie, and it was charming on the nerds writers panel comics

edition a few weeks ago.

Kel Cahoon, who's a great TV writer, he's worked on everything from the Larry Sanders

show to news radio, Just Shoot Me, King of the Hill.
