The Virginia trial of Brendan Banfield, a former IRS special agent, centers on an alleged murder plot that is both calculated and extremely twisted.

Banfield is charged with aggravated murder in the February 23 killings of his own wife, Christine, and a man named Joseph Ryan, inside their Herndon, Virginia home.

Prosecutors alleged Banfield orchestrated the killings to conceal an affair with the family's

Brazilian opair, Juliana Magalise. They say Banfield impersonated his wife on a fetish website,

luring Joseph Ryan to the home under the guise of a sexual encounter.

According to Magalise's testimony, Banfield shot Ryan and stabbed his wife Christine while staging the scene as a home invasion.

Banfield is facing life behind bars and has pleaded not guilty and today blood spatter

evidence took center stage and tonight you will see it but first he was

cancanon on West Wing actor Timothy Busfield has had a long career in Hollywood,

but now he's been accused of one count of child abuse

and two counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor.

The accusers, twin actors who were seven years old

in a show he was directing. Busfield has been locked up

without bond but was in court today trying to get out with some help from his

wife Melissa Gilbert. We'll show you what happened in court plus we'll take a
