This is episode 264, the activated disciple retreat, prayer, and study.

And I'm so glad you're joining me again this week, as we are in the middle of our activated disciple Lenton retreat where we are going through my book, the activated disciple, and really pointing out some of the major points that are necessary to become that disciple of the Lord to have that life that you have been dreaming of when it comes to walking with Jesus.

I know what that's like. I've been teaching and studying for over 40 years now, and I still want more. I still want to go deeper into God's word. I still want to have a better prayer life, and I want to have that relationship with Jesus that my heart really, really craves, and I'm on my way.

I am, and I hope to fully, fully experience him in heaven. And I know you do too. You wouldn't be listening to this kind of stuff if you didn't have a heart that was interested, you know, in the Lord.

And so welcome, welcome. We're going to be talking today about some of the disciplines of a disciple, some of the daily things that will fill the schedule of a disciple.

And you have to determine how you're going to do it and when you're going to, when you're going to do it, but you really need to do these disciplines.

We're going to focus primarily on prayer and study, and there's different aspects of all of that that are really important.
