0:10.1	There's breaking news on that tonight and there could be even more in the hours and days

0:17.2	Joseph McGuire is the Acting Director of National Intelligence or DNI.
0:21.5	According to Congressman Adam Schiff, who's the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee,
0:25.9	the acting DNI is refusing to turn over a whistleblower complaint to his committee.
0:32.2	Now the law requires that the intelligence community's Inspector General report all
0:36.5	incredible complaints involving urgent concerns to the Director of National Intelligence,
0:41.9	the Acting Director of McGuire, which, according to Congressman Schiff, Inspector General
0:46.4	has done.
0:47.4	Now, we don't know what this whistleblower complaint is, neither apparently does Congress,
0:52.0	but the Inspector General does, and according to Schiff, they judge it to be both credible
0:56.2	and urgent.
0:57.9	According to the law, once the Inspector General has reported the whistleblower complaint
1:01.8	to the Director of National Intelligence, the statute says, and I'm quoting, the director
1:06.4	shall within seven calendar days of such receipt forward, such transmittal to the Congressional
1:11.6	Intelligence Committee's together with any comments the Director considers appropriate.
1:15.9	And that's what Acting DNI McGuire is refusing to do.
