But she used to do this thing she used to make me say every single night before I went to bed

Now I lay me down to sleep. Do you know that does anybody know that I used to have to have to say this, I used to have to repeat this, I'd say, now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep.

And if I die before I wake, I pray the Lord, my soul to take.

I would say that before bed, which is a really fucked up thing

for a child to say out loud.

If I die before I wake up, I'm six.
