Back when I was doing Terrestrial Radio, you were one of my most interesting interviews.

So I wanted to hurry up and have you back on the podcast.

Well, thank you for the invitation.

An open book.

And not a lot of open books in Hollywood. Not a lot of open books that have

been around for a while, like George DeKay has, or DeKai. DeKay. Okay. All right. I'm going to fuck up.

DeKay. And I like that about you. It's liberating. Now, are you that way more at a older age than you

were at a younger age? I mean, you had to have secrets when you were younger, right? I did live

a double life. But I tried to, you know, within each compartmentalized parts of my life, I tried to be as open,

frank, candid, forthright, within, you know, the compartment.

Could you, if you were, if somebody found out you were gay when you were doing Star Trek,

would that have been an issue?

Was the times we were living in?

Well, when I was doing Star Trek, I became more comfortable with the cast members,

particularly when we started doing the series of movies.

And by that time I was getting fairly serious with Brad.

And so I'd take him to, you know, Friday night to rap parties.

Right.

And I'd initially introduce him as my friend.
