Greetings, greetings. Welcome back to the 59 North Sailing podcast. I'm your host, Andy Schell. Before we get into this, a lot of people have been asking about the intro and outro music. So I'll get right to it. The intro and outro music is and has always been the

Blagirds. It's an Irish band from Texas, actually, and the album that I pull the stuff off of is

called Standards. I actually did get in touch with those guys. They were kind enough to let me use

their music. The intro songs have been a variety of different tracks from the Drunken Sailor

song to a couple different other ones. The outro song has always been Rocky Road to Dublin. So,

yeah, check it out. Check out Blaggards, their album called Standards. And thanks for those guys

for allowing me to use their music. And one of these days, I'm going to try and get them on the

podcast to talk about how they got into that whole thing.

This is part two of the Across the North Sea that I started last week.

So I picked this one up in the middle of this story of us sailing from Scotland to Sweden in 2012.

So I wrote it in pencil on the boat as part of a log.

And it was written kind of in the present tense. So I read it in the on the boat as part of a log and it was written kind of in the present tense.

So I read it in the present tense, but know that it happened in 2012.

Anyway, I am recording this intro down in Annie Key.

We're still here for the Caribbean 1500.

It is Tuesday, November 11th, when I record this.

So this will be released in a couple days on Friday.

At the moment, only one boat's arrived. The rest will be here later in the week. It's been a pretty slow passage with light air this year, but everybody seems to be having fun.
